About Williams Landing Dental Clinic

Dentist talking to a patient in Point Cook

Dentist in Williams Landing

We, dentist Dr Mary Phan and practice manager Melanie Gonstaw, would like to welcome you to our new dental clinic located in Williams Landing!, which is close proximity to Point Cook and Truganina. With 30 years of experience in the dental industry between us, we wanted to open a new clinic that would be warm and inviting, while providing an excellent dental service to the surrounding areas at an affordable price for growing families.

We understand that coming to the dentist can be quite stressful and daunting for many people. Our friendly receptionist and dental nurses are very experienced and understand the anxiety that some people may have when visiting the dentist. From having a beautifully designed clinic to choosing the best staff for our team, we want to make sure that you are comfortable and taken care of. Our aim is to make every visit a happy memory.

The clinic has all the comforts of home. You will always be welcomed with a smile and a light-filled waiting area with a beautiful view of the park, comfortable bay seating, the latest magazines, complimentary tea and coffee, and a big TV to catch up on your favourite shows. Once in the surgery room, you will get the opportunity to recline in the dental chair and take in our beautiful view, or watch some light entertainment on the custom designed ceiling-mounted TV. It's a relaxing experience, even if it is in a dental chair!

We strive to use the latest techniques and equipment available on the market for the comfort of our patients. We also ensure all our equipment is sterilised to the highest standards.

After 10 years of working in private practice in the Eastern suburbs, Dr Mary Phan decided a change of location was in order, and found herself in Point Cook. She has re-established herself in the area, and within just two years has managed to develop great rapport with her patients. With special interest in all facets of family dentistry, Mary is particularly skilled in managing and treating even the most nervous of kids with her gentle approach.

Melanie has managed a number of dental practices over the past 15 years.  She decided she wanted to be close to home for her family and ended up working the past four years in Point Cook. Drawing from those experiences, she decided that it was time to open a modern practice to meet the needs of our rapidly growing community. She is able to answer all inquiries, and is excellent at walking each patient through their treatment process so that there are no surprises or anxiety. Having grown up in the area, and now with a family of her own, she thought there was no better place than Williams Landing to start this new chapter in her life.

We hope to see you soon!

COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Dear Patients,

In accordance with the recent announcement of Level 3 restrictions associated with the Coronavirus outbreak, general dental practice being an essential service will remain open for business but under limited services.

The measures have been put into place to minimise the risk to our patients, their families and our staff.

Unfortunately at this stage, all routine examinations and treatment will need to be deferred. To meet regulations, we are able to continue to provide care for those who require emergency or urgent treatment. Every patient who has any dental concerns will be triaged to see if they meet the criteria as set out by the Dental Practice Board for treatment. Although we would love to be able to address all patients, we hope you understand that due strict guidelines this may not be possible at this present moment.

We are screening all patients for symptoms who attend our clinic along with our routine high standard infection-control protocols. We ask that all of our patients assist us in keeping Williams Landing Dental Clinic Coronovirus-free by not attending the clinic if you are suffering any symptoms which may be associated with the Coronavirus or if you are in self isolation due to risk of contact with the virus.

We appreciate that this is a stressful time for everyone and thank you for your patience. We look forward to looking after your smiles again when things return to normal.

Stay safe.
The Team at Williams Landing Dental Clinic
