Ben graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK in 2000 and joined the team in early 2016. His great passion in dentistry is for treating anxious children and adults and has been the focus of his career. He is highly experienced at using inhalational and intravenous sedation techniques and gained a Diploma in Conscious Sedation in Dentistry from the University of Newcastle (UK). He hopes to begin using this skill and experience soon in Melbourne. Bens' aim is to continue providing good quality family dentistry in a relaxed and calm environment. Ben also works at Melbourne University in a teaching capacity guiding dental students through their early clinical years.

Outside of dentistry Ben particularly enjoys travel and is lucky enough to have visited many parts of the world including South America, Europe, the Himalayas, South East Asia, India, the Middle East and Africa. He is also proud to have carried out volunteer dental work in Eastern Europe and the Caribbean. His other interests include photography, the arts, swimming, reading, walking, property renovation and skiing. Ben moved to Melbourne with his wife and his two young daughters and are incredibly excited to have begun exploring beautiful Victoria and beyond.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

In accordance with the recent announcement of Level 4 restrictions associated with the Coronavirus outbreak, general dental practice being an essential service will remain open for business but under limited services.

The measures have been put into place to minimise the risk to our patients, their families and our staff.

Unfortunately at this stage, all routine examinations and treatment will need to be deferred. To meet regulations, we are able to continue to provide care for those who require emergency or urgent treatment. Every patient who has any dental concerns will be triaged to see if they meet the criteria as set out by the Dental Practice Board for treatment. Although we would love to be able to address all patients, we hope you understand that due strict guidelines this may not be possible at this present moment.

We are screening all patients for symptoms who attend our clinic along with our routine high standard infection-control protocols. We ask that all of our patients assist us in keeping Williams Landing Dental Clinic Coronovirus-free by not attending the clinic if you are suffering any symptoms which may be associated with the Coronavirus or if you are in self isolation due to risk of contact with the virus.

We appreciate that this is a stressful time for everyone and thank you for your patience. We look forward to looking after your smiles again when things return to normal.

Stay safe.   When you arrive at the clinic please stay in your car and call the clinic.
